Learn about Oman Sultans and princesses that reigned over Zanzibar, whilst you wonder through that maze of alleys that display the blend of Arabic and East Africa architecture. Take a break during your tour to sip spiced coffee and sample some Swahili cuisine all between: visiting the African Cathedral that marks the former site of a slave market: discovering the trade spices brought by Indian community. Then you will learn about Zanzibar's dark history with a visit to the slave market and visit the Freddy Mercury Museum to learn about the pop culture that originated from Zanzibar.
